Awakening the facade and adding a new tenant

Facade renovations of the Gwynedd Crossing Shopping Center and conversion of an old Whole Foods Market into a new 20,500 SF Aldi Grocery Store. The grocery renovation included new mechanical systems servicing the customer sales floor and the back of the house stockroom and loading dock. New coolant systems were installed for the customer facing coolers and freezers. All transaction spaces, partitions and finishes were installed to ALDI’s corporate design standards. The façade renovation involved significant structural and architectural renovations to the existing center while maintaining occupancy and customer access to the open businesses. Scope included five new steel and decorative panel towers at specific tenant locations to break up the horizontal nature of the existing façade.
