High Quality Imaging

MidAtlantic Construction completed the 6,100 SF fit-out of an advanced imaging suite for Jefferson Outpatient Imaging, part of Jefferson University Health Systems. This project filled the last remaining vacant space within a newly constructed shell building located at 243 Hurffville-Cross Keys Road in Washington Township, NJ. The imaging suite was designed and built to accommodate cutting-edge medical technology, including MRI, CT scan, X-ray, DEXA scan, Ultrasound, and Mammography units. The project required the installation of specialized mechanical, electrical, and electromagnetic shielding systems to support the suite's demanding operational requirements.

A key project highlight was the rigging and placement of large imaging equipment, including the MRI unit’s electromagnet. This process involved the temporary removal and timely reinstallation of exterior building components, seamlessly integrated into the construction schedule. This approach ensured the equipment could be installed safely after all supporting infrastructure was completed, protecting surrounding new finishes and avoiding project delays.
