Mike Haas

Superintendent

Background & Role

Mike began his construction journey in 1975 as a Carpenter’s Helper, working on production housing projects. After five years in residential construction, he transitioned to the commercial sector, advancing through roles as a Journeyman Carpenter, Carpenter Foreman, and ultimately Construction Superintendent.

In the 1990s, Mike capitalized on his extensive experience, confidence, and industry connections to establish his own business as a General Contractor and Carpentry Contractor. Over 25 successful years, he managed numerous ground-up and renovation projects. A significant part of his business focused on automotive dealership construction and renovation, leading him to become a factory-certified ACM Panel fabricator and installer.

In 2015, Mike decided to close his business to spend more time with family and friends, returning to his passion for hands-on construction management as a superintendent. Committed to professional growth, he has taken courses in Construction Estimating, Construction Management, and various trade disciplines, continually enhancing his skills and expertise to deliver exceptional results.

Thing you like most about commercial construction?

I totally enjoy the challenge that each project brings.  The more intricate, the more I enjoy it.  Even with almost 50 years of experience in the industry, I am still learning daily as procedures & methods are constantly changing.  Additionally, I can rely on my many years of experience to resolve issues and missing details that are important to the outcome of that project.
